Rates

Rates are full board, quoted in US$ per room with a maximum of two adult per night except for The Grand Room which can accommodate a maximum of four guests.

Mini Bar & Grill

Our mini bar offers a variety of wines and cocktails for you to enjoy while you relax in the common area after a long day. Sip on the MGT (Malawi Gin & Tonic) while you watch TV or listen to music. Light snacks can be purchased from our kitchen. We offer a complimentary bowl of peanuts/chips and random specials throughout the duration of your stay.

Reservation Payment

The Residence requires payment due upon arrival in full, and it must be made electronically or with a major credit card (American Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa). Each guest reservation will receive a mail confirmation upon receipt of payment.

Reservation for a Single Room (max 2 guests)

A single room reservation is defined as one-room for 1-2 guests for an overnight stay, and it must be guaranteed with a name, mailing address, cell phone, number of guests, arrival time and a valid credit card. A single room reservation must be a firm reservation for the date(s) reserved. A single room reservation type cannot be used as part of a group reservation. Group Reservation/Events

Group reservations are welcome at The Residence and they are defined as 2 or more rooms. We can accommodate small groups (3-20 guests inside or outside) and large groups (20 to 200+ guests for an outside event on property). We are perfect for meetings, retreats, reunions, and other get-togethers. To make a group reservation, we first require that there be a single person or coordinator that can be in charge of the entire group. We require that the coordinator give us their name, address, cell phone, a valid credit card, sign a contract and pay a 50% Non-Refundable deposit. Additional requirements include the total number of rooms and guests, room assignments, times of arrival, and dietary needs (gluten free, vegetarian, or other). Any unfilled guest rooms will be the responsibility of the coordinator. ** If a group cancels their reservation, the deposit is forfeited. Please call us if you have a group reservation that you wish to host here.

Pets

Pets are not allowed in our rooms. Pet violations will pay a fee up to $100.

Minimum Night Stays

The minimum stay is one night. We do not permit anything short of an overnight stay. There is no exception to this rule.

Minimum Age to Reserve a Room

We require that the minimum age for a guest to rent a room is the age of 21 years. A person less than 21 years cannot rent a room by themselves.

Lost and Found

Items left behind by guests are held for 14 days. If claimed, we can arrange to have them shipped by mail at your own expense.

Housekeeping and Maid Service (daily) - optional

Daily housekeeping service is provided to our entire guests to help straighten your room, to make the bed, to remove the trash and to provide fresh towels. Please let us know if you wish to NOT have maid service.

Children

A child must be accompanied by an adult and minors are not allowed to rent a room.

Check-in and Check-out

Check-out time is 11:00 am. ARRIVAL: Check-in is 4:00pm. If you arrive earlier, you are welcome to come relax and enjoy a cold drink in our reception area. If the rooms are available, then we may be able to do an early check-in (but not guaranteed). If you are checking-in after 10:00pm, we kindly ask that you please make arrangements with us for a late check-in. Later arrivals can be accommodated with a phone call.

Damage to the Property

All guests are responsible for any damage to the property. Guests may be charged cleaning fees for excessive damage to towels, linens and the property.

Cancellation Policy

A CANCELLATION WILL BE ACCEPTED BY PHONE OR EMAIL (Please no voice mail or text cancellations). Please ask about our rain check policy.
